Top+5+Week+Two+college+football+games+to+watch

Attention, college football fans!

Football is back and there are a great slate of games this week.

Here are the top 5 games to watch this week:

5. Missouri at Kentucky

This game means a lot for the SEC east. The winner of this game would have a chance to compete with Georgia for the SEC east title. Missouri is coming off a shaky win over Central Michigan. Coach Eli Drinkwitz has a team that can go into Lexington and get a massive win for his program. Meanwhile, Coach Mark Stoops and the Cats have a chance to have a special season but this game is a must win in order for that to happen.

4. Utah at BYU

The Holy War rivalry is back for the 101st meeting of one of College football’s greatest rivalries. Utah has won the last nine meetings over the Cougars. The Cougars will look to end that streak Saturday with an upset win over the Utes. BYU started the season with a solid victory over the Arizona WIldcats, and hope to carry that momentum into this week. The Utes starting quarterback Charlie Brewer had a good week one performance throwing for over 250 yards and two touchdowns. The Cougar defense will have to step up this weekend to pull off the upset and end the streak.

3. Texas at Arkansas

Sam Pittman seems to have his Razorbacks on the rise, a win over Texas this week could turn this Arkansas program around and put them back on the college football map. After an impressive performance in a week one win over Louisiana, Texas looks to make a name for themselves again. The Longhorns bring in a strong run game with one of the best running backs in college football, Bijan Robinson. Arkansas struggled early in week one before figuring it out in the second half, to pull off a comfortable win. The Longhorns will have their hands full this week against a tough Razorback defense in what should be a hostile environment.

2. Iowa at Iowa State

Iowa is coming off a very impressive beatdown over number 17 Indiana in week one. The Hawkeyes will look to carry that momentum as they travel to Ames to take on their rivals the Iowa State Cyclones. Iowa’s defense will have a tall task ahead of them having to face a very experienced Cyclone offense led by star quarterback Brock Purdy. Iowa State struggled in week one against Northern Iowa, but head coach Matt Campbell is focused on winning a very big game for his program.

1. Oregon at Ohio State

Both teams are coming into this game after closer wins than they would have liked after week one. This is a big game for both teams, even though it’s only week 2, this game could have major implications come playoff time. Ohio State opens as a fourteen and a half point favorite over the Ducks. Oregon’s star defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux’s status is unknown for Saturday’s game due to an injury. Mario Cristobal and the Ducks look to upset Chris Olave and the Buckeyes, in what would be a monumental win for their program.
