GRC’s top tennis player, Tennyson Prater, has strong showing at state tournament

GRC’s top tennis player, junior Tennyson Prater, notched a first-round victory this week at the KHSAA state tennis tournament, 3-6, 6-1, 10-6, over Shane Landis from Sayre.

He then fell to 5th seed Chris Kaufmann from St. Xavier, 0-6, 1-6.

Tennyson has qualified for state both years he has played.

In 2021, he was region runner-up.
