What does a wildlife conservationist, Olympic gymnast, reality tv show icons all have in common? It all has to do with this season of “Dancing with the Stars”.
“Dancing with the Stars” is a hit show that has been running for 34 seasons, where celebrities all compete to win the coveted mirrorball trophy. We have officially hit the half way mark through this season, So, here is my personal ranking of this year’s contestants that are still in the running from worst to best.
- Whitney Leavitt
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star, Whitney Leavitt, has an advantage with her not-so-secret dance career. Whitney was a competition dancer all throughout high school and studied dance in college. Her performances are always spectacular, but I can’t say that is thanks to her coach’s guidance. For these reasons alone, I don’t think she should’ve been picked to be on the show.
- Elaine Hendrix
Elaine Hendrix, professional actor, dancer, and singer, well known for her role in “The Parent Trap” is hitting the dance floor this season. Her dances have been fabulous with the perfect balance of flash and choreography. She has had lots of dance experience in her past. That experience gives her a boost in getting higher scores from the judges which her fellow competitors might not have.
- Alix Earle
Popular TikTok influencer, Alix Earle is next on the list. Alix is spry and upbeat on the show; however, her flashy sets and eccentric costumes tend to carry her performance. Her dances tend to not be very difficult choreography and for being one of the younger competitors, I am not impressed.
- Andy Richter
Andy Richter, better known as Mort from “Madagascar” by Gen Z, is working it on stage this season. Andy hasn’t always gotten the best scores; however, every week he is taking his feedback and working on it. There is always an improvement from him and his dances always capture his comedic personality. I hope to see Andy advance further this season.
- Dylan Efron
Lifestyle influencer and American producer Dylan Efron works hard every week and continues to improve. Though his name might not strike a bell his brother’s name Zac Efron might. Dylan’s halloween night performance really put him towards the top for me. He was doing an extremely good job at conveying emotions while also carrying out good technique and frame.
- Jordan Chiles
Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles is flipping her way onto stage in this season of “Dancing with the Stars”. Jordan’s performances have always been flashy and fun. Her dances usually showcase her extreme athleticism and her star quality.
- Robert Irwin
Wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin has been strutting his stuff this season of “Dancing with the Stars”. He is learning all of his technique from scratch and is always adding his unique personality to his routines. To quote Derek Hough, one of the show’s judges, “He should switch out his hiking boots for dancing shoes, He was made for the stage!”
