Teddy Bear Clinics a hit with younger students

Teddy Bear Clinics are a great way to help children feel at ease about visiting a hospital or a doctor’s office. The clinics have always been a hit with our young Cards. Our team put together a video highlighting the clinic during their recent visit to Conkwright.

Hi my name is Josie Sherman! I like to believe that I am the favorite of 3 children. I have a crazy German Shepherd named Mazi. I enjoy spending my free time with friends and going shopping. If you were to ask me what my favorite song is it would be a tie between The Archer and All Too Well (10 minute version) by Taylor Swift. I love traveling, but my favorite place to go to is definitely Charleston, SC. My favorite movie is The Notebook, and if I could live in a movie it would definitely be Mamma Mia! I am so excited to be a part of your Smoke Signals staff this year!

Hi! My name is Gracie Cecil, I am a junior and I am so excited to start my first year on the Smoke Signals team as a part of the multimedia staff! If my life had a theme song it would be the Good Luck Charlie theme song. I am the oldest of 5 kids and live in a very hectic house where we always have something going on, but when I do have free time I enjoy reading, playing soccer, and baking. I am so excited to be a part of the Smoke Signals team and can't wait to see what this year has to offer!

Sydney is your average, basic 16-year-old girl; however, she likes to tell herself she has some spice. Whenever she’s not hanging out with her friends or on a tennis court somewhere, you’ll probably catch her driving around town singing her heart out to Zach Bryan. She loves to go shopping and blow her bank account on pointless things she totally does not need. She is an only child so luckily she gets to be the favorite and least favorite all at once! Her happiest moments will always be in fall simply because it’s the best time of year without a doubt. She is so beyond excited to be a part of the Smoke Signals staff this year and cannot wait to see what this amazing team holds!
