GRC. These 3 letters separate the groups for the new and improved Club Day system.
Clubs at school are making their returns with a more effective and opportunistic process that allows students to maximize their interest for all the different clubs at school.
The first club day will be Friday, Sept. 22, and clubs will be separated into three groups that will span the first three periods of the school day. Club G during 1st period, Club R during 2nd period, and Club C during 3rd period.
The specific groups (G, R, and C) will each have their own specific clubs. This benefits many students that want to attend multiple clubs in the same day, whether they have interest in them or not.
For example, if a student loves French Club and Pep Club, and wants to attend both they can because French Club is during Club G, and Pep Club is during Club C.
Club G begins at 8:35 and will conclude at the end of 1st period. Club R will start at 9:29 and will conclude at the end of 2nd. Club C will start at 10:22 and will conclude at the end of 3rd period.
For club sponsors, send the rosters into Christi Jones ASAP to make sure that the rosters are updated with the students that will be attending your specific club. Or you can contact your club sponsors listed in the graphic. This will help out the staff to make sure that every student is accounted for.
Make sure you get your name on the rosters because students will not be allowed to leave class unless the student’s name is on the roster for a club during that period.
Don’t miss out on the very first Club Day of the year! There are so many to choose from so explore your options, and take advantage of this amazing opportunity every few weeks.
