Academic Showcase a big success

GRC’s Academic Showcase was a huge success with community leaders, parents, CCPS staff, and teachers from other Kentucky high schools touring our classrooms on Nov. 16.

“We have so many good things going on in our classrooms so I wanted to invite people into our building to showcase our staff and students,” said Principal Jamie Keene. “We had a really good turnout and received some very good feedback. Each person completed a feedback form for every class they attended.”

Mr. Keene said the day was an opportunity to show the “awesome teaching and learning that is taking place” at GRC.

“I want our community to know that we are committed to making sure every student that graduates from GRC is #Ready,” he said. “Ready for whatever is next, whether it is college, trade school, military, or workforce. We want to make sure we are graduating good people who are committed to being productive citizens.”
