Crowell wins district-wide award of excellence

Amanda Crowell: an educator, a rockstar, and the winner of the 2022 CCPS Excellence in Teaching Award for High School.

Ms. Crowell began teaching social studies and psychology shortly after earning her degree at the University of Kentucky. She has been teaching for 17 years, all which has been devoted to GRC.

“I was surprised and honored to receive this award,” Ms. Crowell said.

She was presented the award last week at a district-wide administrator meeting at RDC.

“It is hard to put into adequate and sufficient words to express how grateful, excited, and blessed I feel to receive this,” she said, “I truly appreciate it.”

Ms. Crowell advances on to the Campbellsville University 2022 Excellence in Teaching Award Program.
