Students excel at SkillsUSA competition

Several GRC students placed high and won scholarships in the regional SkillsUSA Competition against Harrison County and Scott County held at the ATC Feb. 25.

Congratulations to the following:

Welding Contest:

  • 1st place – Mario Arreguin ($3,000 Scholarship through KWI)
  • 3rd place – Adam Peace ($1,000 Scholarship through KWI)

Welding 1 Contest:

  •  3rd place – Ian Salas ($750 Scholarship through KWI)
  •  Aiden Westen ($500 Scholarship through KWI)
  •  Michal Hall ($500 Scholarship through KWI)
  •  Caleb Harrison ($500 Scholarship through KWI)

Automotive MLR:

  •  1st place – Matthew Jones
