Osborn retires from GRC after 20 years, 30 years in education
Testing coordinator and long-time counselor Eric Osborn will ride into the sunset this week, retiring from education after 30 years.
Mr. Osborn spent the last two decades at GRC. He was a counselor for most of his tenure before moving to testing coordinator.
He’s definitely not one to want a story written about him, but we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to say THANK YOU, MR. OSBORN.
Known for always having a joke to share, Mr. Osborn has left a lasting mark on our staff and students with his humble spirit and caring personality.
We wish you all the best, Mr, Osborn.

I hope you get to sleep in, read, enjoy God’s creation and especially your family. I have the highest respect for your nurturing students. and work. We know there are so many kids overlooked due to the seriousness of the problems they face. I am sure the changes became more complex, especially to restore and help resolve the situations facing kids. The numbers make it so easy to justify rather than address mistakes.
And you were always working kids through the “who they were made to be” opposed to the pressure to fit in as
“one of the guys.”
You are a person others have turned to because of your character, strength and determination to work to serve.
May God continue to bless you and your family. You are such a good man.
Sincerely,
John Atkins
