Clark County Community Foundation funds program for GRC students

Through the generosity of the Clark Community Foundation, all GRC students have access through Dec. 31, 2020, to Finding YourRIGHTFit College, an online college planning resource by Your Expert College Coach.

Finding YourRIGHTFIt College is meant to serve as a foundation and to complement the work your school counselors are doing.

It’s clear and easy to use, and it’s designed for students AND the adults in their lives. It covers topics from making a college list to accessing financial aid and planning campus visits.

The course includes short informational videos, activities to work through the college search, and family discussion guides to help students and their families talk about the college process.

  • Know when and how to act
  • Confidently navigate the process
  • Find “YourRightFit” college AND
  • Identify potential financial resources

Dr. Kim Schroeder, Your Expert College Coach, has worked in college admissions for over 20 years and recruited, admitted and awarded scholarships to thousands of students.

Dr. Schroeder has also worked with colleges across the country to improve all aspects of their admissions processes.

In addition, she has coordinated the Clark County Community Foundation Scholars program at GRC since 2016.
