Tom Brady Will Win His Sixth Super Bowl

The New England Patriots are entering their third Super Bowl in the past four years.

Behind center, the Patriots have one of the greatest quarterbacks in the league, Tom Brady. Brady is looking to win his sixth championship in his 17-year career.

Brady is battling a younger and less experienced quarterback in Nick Foles who has no Super Bowl experience.  Brady won his first Super Bowl when Foles was only 12 years old.

Brady isn’t the only reason that New England is going to take home the title of World Champions.

The receiving core of the Patriots made up of Rob Gronkowski, Danny Amendola and Brandin Cooks is one of the best in the NFL. Each ranked #5, #27, and #20 at their positions, respectfully.

The Patriots are the third best offense in the league behind only Jacksonville and Philadelphia.

While the Eagles may be rated as a better offensive team than the Patriots, most of these numbers come from the Eagles’ Carson Wentz, who went out earlier this season due to a torn ACL in week 14.

The Patriot defense has held teams to 17 points this post season while the offense is putting up 29.5 points.

History is on the Patriots side. The Eagles have never won a Super Bowl. This puts all the pressure on the Eagles to perform and show that they can actually win a title. Brady has already defeated the Eagles in Super Bowl XXXIX 24-21 and is poised to do it again.

Gronkowski, who is questionable for the Super Bowl due to a concussion suffered in the AFC championship game against Jacksonville, won’t hold the Patriots back.

Brady has all the necessary components at his disposal to take home his sixth trophy.

I’m putting the Patriots at winning 26-17 with Brady taking home his fourth Super Bowl MVP and sixth World Championship.

The Eagles Will Fly Away with the Trophy

The NFL is rigged. It’s obvious. I could have told you four months ago that the Patriots would be playing in this game.

The referees are always biased towards the Patriots. Did you watch their first two playoff games? New England has had five penalties against them in the two games, resulting in 47 yards. Meanwhile, their opponents have combined for 16 penalties, resulting in 160 total yards. The refs are the Patriots most valuable player.

So, as long as the eagles can avoid bad calls, they’ll dominate every other aspect of the game.

Defense wins championships. The Eagles had the fourth ranked defense in the NFL in the regular-season, allowing only 306.9 yards per game. They also had the top ranked rushing defense, allowing only 79 yards per game.

The Eagles will take away the run game. The only thing to watch out for is Tom Brady.

I won’t lie, Tom Brady has had a very good postseason. He made the Titans look like a bunch of 4-year-olds. He beat the Jaguars in a fourth quarter comeback.

But the teams he’s played don’t compare to the teams the Eagles have played.

The Eagles have beaten the Falcons and the Vikings, two of the best teams in the NFC. The Vikings had the best defense in the league in the regular-season, yet the Eagles put up 31 points in the first half, all with a backup quarterback.

Now, compare that to the Patriots’ defense, which ranks fourth… from last.

Nick Foles has every motivation in the world. He’s been doubted his whole career, and has been a backup almost every year of his career. Now, he’s fought his way to the Super Bowl, and I can’t see Foles messing up his chance to finally be a star, especially not against the Patriots defense.

The Eagles definitely aren’t going to beat the Patriots by 31, like their victory over Minnesota. With that being said, I’m picking the Eagles to beat the Patriots 31-23, and take home the Lombardi Trophy.
