Congratulations to the GRC Marching Band for placing 5th in KMEA state finals Saturday.

Hi my name is Ava, and I have a lot of flava. Been in smoke signals media for 3 years now, but I’m down to my last year, wow. Class of 25, what a great time to be alive! So sad to leave this amazing program because the content and Crosby are my jam. I am the sports editor because I love all sports, so I will be at all fields and courts. I hope to be successful in the future with all the lessons I’ve learned, I  am leaving highschool with no stone unturned. Counting down the days to graduation, I will walk across the stage with no hesitation. Making everyday count and loving everything I own, because everyday I get older, nothing should be unknown. My lucky number is nine because it makes me shine! Peace love and smoke signals

Hi I’m Libby Taylor and I am one of the seniors on the Smoke Signals team. Smoke Signals has broadened my horizons in so many ways. Getting to create graphics and capture iconic moments in our school sports is always a joy. Additionally, I get to walk into a family-like atmosphere  everyday in the class. Each and every student I share this class with has become such a inspiring individual in my life and has helped me grow in multiple amazing ways. Outside of this class I am the team captain of our high school swim team, on the convention council in the national beta club, in national honor society, and the french honor society. I love getting to try new experiences in and out of the classroom and can’t wait to see where this team takes Smoke Signals this year!
