Alex Wright has been hired as GRC Wrestling Coach.
An accountant for Toyota Tsusho America in Georgetown, Alex has spent the past three years as the assistant wrestling coach at Bourbon County High School, where he was a standout wrestler himself.
Wright was a two-time state placer, two-time region champion, and four-time region finalist.
He continued his education and wrestling career at Campbellsville University and Midway University.
“I am excited for the new challenges that come with being a head coach and to be a part of the GRC team,” Wright said. “I cannot wait to continue growing this already strong program to even further heights in the 2024/2025 season.”
