Ava Woolum, Video Editor
Hey guys! My name is Ava Woolum and I am your Smoke Signals video editor this year. My favorite holidays are Halloween and Christmas. I would absolutely love to visit Salem, Massachusetts, during Halloween, and Switzerland during Christmas time. Ghost hunting, finding Bigfoot, skydiving, and traveling the world are all on my bucket list. My list of places to visit are all the states in New England and the Northern Lights in Alaska. My favorite artists are Zach Bryan (shoutout his new album) and Tyler Childers. The most surreal experience I've had this past year was seeing them both in concert the same weekend. Speaking of concerts, a must see for me is 100% The Lumineers. I am a part of the cheer team for the 8th year in a row and this will sadly be my last. I love hiking, napping, and doing everything with my friends. I am excited to make so many videos this year for Smoke Signals and hopefully continue my passion in college!

Emmie Rose, Editor-in-Chief
Hey y’all, I’m Emmie Rose and I am definitely the funniest person you’ll ever meet. I love to sing in the car like no one’s listening and scroll on Pinterest until 2am. My biggest goal in life is to have a vacation home in Aspen. My favorite song is “Islands in the Stream” by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers because it makes me feel like a retired woman relaxing at the beach. If I had a choice I would eat Raising Cane’s for breakfast, lunch, snack, and dinner (with the sauce and an extra order of toast). By being the middle child in my family, I truly believe “middle child syndrome” is real. I am cousins with basically everyone, so if my name sounds familiar you might want to go check your family tree.
