Hi, my name is Saydee Wesley! I’m so excited to be on your 25-26 Smoke Signals staff! I feel like many people know me for being outgoing, I truly love meeting new people and taking time to learn their interests. My overall favorite season has to be fall for the football games, bonfires, sweaters, and of course the iced pumpkin cream chai at Starbies. I would say my strongest character trait is empathy, I always make sure to put myself in others shoes. You truly never know what someone is struggling with and the affect your words or actions can have on them. When I have a bad day I call my mom, she is my go to person. My mom never fails to send me a quote. My favorite quote she has ever sent me was, “When you focus on the good, the good gets better.”
