Come to the cabaret!

Cardinal Cabaret brings the Cardinal Theatre back to life

Next week, GRC is putting on a show unlike any other.

The GRC Fine Arts Department would like to invite you to the CARDINAL CABARET, a LIVE, in-person Musical Theatre Revue!

The GRC Theatre usually puts on a musical each year. But for this pandemic year, they have decided to host this event to bring the arts back to the school in a unique way.

Mrs. Lowther, the production producer, explains why they chose to put on a cabaret instead of large-scale production.

“Making a cabaret like this allows us to pick and choose songs that are fan favorites, that we know we can do well,” she said.

The GRC Cardinal Theater will again be alive with the sound of music from all of your favorite musicals.

There may even be a number featuring our resident King of Pop, Chris Fraley.

Abi Boarman, a senior in the production, says to expect some very entertaining songs and performances.

“There’s going to be a lot of excitement and a lot of craziness on stage, that’s for sure,” she said.

To keep everything Covid safe, all performers will be masked and physically distanced.

Along with the public show on Friday, there will be two school performances on Thursday, May 13th, at 9:30 and 1:15.

And to top all of that, tickets are free, but donations are warmly accepted!

So come to the cabaret, old chum!
