The GRC Drama Department will present The Sound of Music April 30-May 3.

After two schools shows April 30, the musical will be presented for four public performances May 1-3.

Auditions begin next week according to the following schedule:

AUDITION INFORMATION:

12/03, Tuesday

Sound of Music Auditions Part 1, GRC Cardinal Theater

–Open to any GRC student (younger students audition on 12/05, see below)’

–Students auditioning for a singing/speaking role must prepare a sixteen bar audition cut of a musical theater song appropriate for his/her age.

–Students interested in TECH ONLY positions must still attend the audition but will be dismissed after they complete an application form providing conflicts and explaining why they would be an asset to the program.

–Students MUST REGISTER HERE prior to auditioning.

12/05, Thursday

Sound of Music Auditions Part 2, GRC Cardinal Theater, by appointment only (register below)

–ONLY students enrolled in Clark County Public Schools may audition.-

–Younger students for the following roles only (ages are approximate):

       Kurt (10): MUST have a clearly unchanged voice

       Brigitta (9)

       Marta (7)

       Gretl (youngest)

–Students MUST REGISTER HERE prior to auditioning.

–Auditions are by appointment only, please ensure all information on the form is correct (especially email address)

–Students must prepare a sixteen-bar audition cut of a musical theater song appropriate for his/her age.  Please bring two copies of the music to the audition.

12/06, Friday

–Sound of Music CALLBACKS, by invitation only.
