The boys’ soccer team went up against two district foes last week wining both games. In the first game against Bourbon County, the Cards prevailed winning, 6-1. In their next game against the Paris Hounds, the Cards came out victorious, 7-0. The boys are 8-2 heading into this week when they take on Corbin at home Tuesday and then away at district rival Montgomery County Thursday. Senior Clayton Parks has added to his goal scored total, which is now up to 24. Parks is currently sitting in the top 10 in the state in goals scored. Josh Bailey leads the team in assists with 9. Senior goalkeeper Hunter Caudill has kept 2 clean sheets and Junior Chase Gabbard has kept 1 clean sheet.
