Go all out or go home
Homecoming has always had a reputation for being a bright, flashy event. From the week leading up to the dance to the football game, homecoming is a time for students to celebrate their school pride.
It makes no sense to wear simple boring dresses when the whole vibe of homecoming is more exhilarating and hype than formal. The integration of simple dresses let alone sundresses makes absolutely no sense. Going all out for HoCo with sequins, gems, and sparkle is more fitting compared to the simplicity of satin and floral prints.
Elegant is Relevant
The most awaited time of the year for GRC students is approaching quickly. It is almost Homecoming season, and that means one thing, it’s dress shopping time! With dress shopping comes the bane of every girl’s existence; deciding which dress you want.
Homecoming is the time of year where students get to express themselves openly through the dress they pick. A sparkly, flashy dress is so overdone when it comes to homecoming.
Wearing a longer, flowery, flowy dress, gives individuality to someone and quite frankly looks better than a flashy,color-bombing dress that every single student shows up in. With more elegant, satin dresses comes better intricate designs and details that highlight the beautiful features of a person. To me, that is way more gorgeous than a straight dress with a bomb of sparkles thrown on it that washes out the features of a person.
