The RDC/GRC Archery Team recently completed a successful season after advancing to the state tournament.
Some of the team’s accomplishments include 2nd place at a bullseye tournament in Wolfe County, and 2nd at a 3D tournament in Bourbon County.
The team competed in the state tournament in 3D.
Individual archers also excelled this season.
JW Sosby placed 1st in both the Mercer Titan Bullseye Tournament and the Wolfe County Bullseye Tournament, and 3rd at the Bourbon County Bullseye.
Freshman Ashley Raley placed 1st in the Wolfe County tournament and 3rd in the Mercer Titan Tournament.
“We have had a great season,” said Coach Cory White. “I’m very proud of the whole team. We have improved so much from the beginning of the season.”
