The Pilot View Market has been on Ironworks Road for so long.
The market has recently been reopened by Winchester residents Tricia Lawson and her husband, Mark, who have lived in Winchester for over 20 years.
“We looked at it and spoke with the previous owners and decided that it was such an important store to the community”, said Mrs. Lawson.
The Lawsons had been wanting to open a store for a while and felt that the Pilot View Market was the perfect opportunity.
The Pilot View Market holds core memories for the people of Winchester. Many folks visiting the market will remember going to the market as children.
“I had some customers tell me that the bus driver would stop and let them purchase items on their way home from school,” said Mrs. Lawson.
The Pilot View Market is available to help with special events and occasions. The market has a great variety of meals and desserts along with a great environment! Not to mention the people that keep the business running.
“We have great employees that are friendly and helpful and will go above and beyond to make certain you have a great experience,” said Mrs. Lawson.
Not only is the market a small business, it is also a family-run business. The whole Lawson family gets involved to make sure everything runs smoothly.
“Treats are made by myself and my daughter; we make them daily,” said Mrs. Lawson.
