We gave our admin the chance to introduce themselves to our readers.
This year, our administrative team includes Principal Luke Toy, and Assistant Principals Diana Cline, Emily Cook, Chelsey Highley, and Chad Luhman. The principals have given us some insight into what they value here at our school.
Mr. Toy
There’s so much to love about GRC. From our state-of-the-art facilities to the wide range of programs that cater to nearly every interest, and, of course, our outstanding sports teams. But what truly stands out to me, above all else, is our incredible students.
I want our students to truly understand how much they matter. You are the future. Among nearly 8 billion people on this planet, each of you is unique, with incredible potential and so much to offer the world.

GRC truly embodies a spirit of excellence in both academics and extracurricular arts. The fact that it hosts some of the top-ranked programs in the state speaks volumes about the dedication of both the staff and the students. Whether it’s in academics, athletics, or the arts, GRC provides an environment where students can thrive and reach their full potential.
What I want students to know about me is that I’m passionate about supporting their success and helping them reach their full potential. Whether you’re excelling in academics, exploring new interests, or facing challenges, I’m here to help guide and encourage you every step of the way. My goal is to make sure that every student at GRC feels empowered to pursue their dreams.

I love being able to form meaningful relationships with students. I love when students start to see their growth potential and I absolutely love watching our students succeed!
I want my students to know that I am here for them. I am here when things are great and I am here when things are not so great. You aced a test? I want to hear about it!
Mrs. Cook
I love GRC because for it to be such a large school, it has a very small town feel. After growing up in a town that was much smaller than this, it’s nice to still have that sense of community in such a bigger place.
What I want students to know about me is that even though I have this tough exterior, I’m really a big softy and I care about student success. I want every student who comes through the doors to be able to achieve and do anything they want to do.
Mrs. Cline
I love the atmosphere at GRC. The sense of community is strong, and the possibilities for where we can take the school are truly exciting. I love how connected we are to the community, and the teachers here are wonderful. We have an amazing team that makes working here a rewarding experience.
I want students to know that I believe in the power of relationships and genuinely care about each and every one of them. I’m here to support and encourage them and I truly believe they can achieve great things. I am committed to helping all students learn at high and rigorous levels because I know they are capable of achieving their best with dedication and hard work!
