It’s that time of the year again! The leaves start to fall, the cool breeze gives you chills, and pumpkin scented candles are back in stores.
The best time of year by far — fall. I love fall and everything about it, but the best part of fall is definitely the fall treats.
So here’s a list of the best fall treats so you can also enjoy the sweet taste of fall:
1-Now this may be basic but I have to start the lists with the classics. Apple and pumpkin pie. Most of the time one if not both of them can be seen on the dinner table around thanksgiving. They are a fan favorite and undeniably one of the most iconic fall desserts. People usually either like one or the other, personally I prefer apple pie but both make an exceptional fall treat and earn their spot on this list.
2-Next up is a classic fresh apple cider doughnut. My favorite part of the pumpkin patch is the apple cider doughnuts that I get on the way out. They are warm and sugary and instantly give you a fuzzy feeling. I always make sure to grab extra in hopes I can have them for breakfast the next morning but when I get home I don’t even have the chance to set them on the counter before my family devours them.
3-Up next on the list is the delicious, delectable, devine pumpkin roll. If you don’t know what a pumpkin roll is or have never tried a pumpkin roll you are severely depriving your taste buds. In simple terms a pumpkin roll is a pumpkin bread base lathered in cream cheese then rolled up and doused in powdered sugar. This is my go to treat to bring to any friendsgiving or fall event and it is always a fan favorite.
4-Some may argue that this next treat is not a “fall treat” but those people can just skip this next paragraph because there is no room for haters here. Reese’s pumpkins, the most anticipated seasonal candy. Don’t you dare say that Reese’s pumpkins taste the same as regular Reeses. The chocolate to peanut butter ratio in a Reese’s pumpkin makes it taste so much. Easily my favorite candy all year.
5-I am going to round out this list with a crucial fall drink. Pumpkin spice lattes, they consume the lives of Starbucks lovers. The second that the fall menu drops at starbuck the drive through line is backed up onto the street. Pumpkin Spice lattes are the perfect pick me up after a long hard day of school or work. They are sweet, refreshing, and most importantly fill you with the fall spirit.
I, along with many other fall lovers, wait all year for the tasty, delightful, scrumptious fall treats to come back into stores.
Fall is by far the best season of them all and the treats just make fall that much sweeter.
