If you were dropped off on a completely random road inside of a completely random country, would you be able to figure out where you are?

This is the basic premise of the app Geoguessr.

It uses Google Street View to generate a random area for the player to then guess their location. 

Look out for clues such as road signs, displayed languages, the Sun, and license plates that may hint to where you are. 

Geoguessr gives players the ability to play the game in several different ways.

There is a timed option as well specific maps available.

You could try to guess the country, the general vicinity, or even try to get all 5,000 points by getting within 100 meters of the exact starting location.
