Focus on a better online experience

I want to have a normal senior year just as much as the next guy, but sadly that’s just not in the cards for us. I think it’s time that we realize that even if we do go back to school it’s not going to be at all how we want it to be.

Think of how school was in the past, and then remove all social aspects of it — no chatting in the halls, masks on all the time (seriously ALL the time), and social distancing while eating lunch. I personally don’t believe that going back to school is worth the risk.

Imagine if you infected one of your classmates and they brought it home to their family. Someone in their family could get extremely sick from COVID and possibly even lose their life. Even though it may not affect you, you have no way of knowing who else it could harm, and I don’t know about you but I’m not prepared to bear that guilt.

I believe we should focus on how to better our online school experience, and that way we can keep ourselves and our loved ones safe.
