With a 10-0 win over Paris Monday, the Girls’ Soccer Team will play Montgomery County for the 39th District championship Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at Cardinal Stadium.

Coach Matt Abner is going for his 5th district ship in seven years as head coach.

The ladies are 15-6-1 on the season and are undefeated in district play. Montgomery County beat Bourbon County 3-2 to advance to the final.

In the 10-0 mercy rule win over Paris, the girls saw six players score — Nicole Davis, 3 goals; Allie Bush, 2 goals, Delaney Manning, 2 goals, and Julia Pohl, Leslie Hernandez and Shelby Vaughn, 1 goal each.

GRC has won the 10th Region soccer championship the past three years and advanced to state.
